I definitely don’t share Tom’s opinions on religion and medicine (be it psychiatry or infectious disease) but, I very much admire his focus and work ethic leading to great success and so pigeonholing a person’s character based on his/her height, in my mind, is no different than doing so with regards to one’s weight, intelligence, ethnicity, etc.

I'm 5'6 1/2", and so, I think I would see eye to eye with Tom...

Do we know if this has any IMAX scenes in it? Wondering if I should see this there or in a Atmos theater.

Top Gun 2 is next week. Holy flying gun! Just 7 more days to go, and the sky is all ours.

Even better. ...And @ a discount...Tuesday's best.

Earlier in this thread some folks were wondering why some of the original cast were not in Top Gun #2. ...One of the main reasons ... you gotta keep in shape if you want to last and look your best. In Hollywood it's a top gun rule.

Not for the EAE they're referencing. It's $30 here. Must be around that much.

Do you mean "buy one ticket get another one for free"? I'm not sure I'd describe it like that.

Last April, the theater near where I live had these scratching cards that got you some various awards, the awards could be several things like free popcorn or drinks, or free tickets or 2 for 1 tickets, either for IMAX or regular screenings. I managed to get two 2F1 IMAX tickets. One of them I used for Doctor Strange, and the other one for this film.

B1G1 and 2-for-1 are the same.

Anyway, sounds like you got yours in some kind of a raffle held by and for your local theater. Thought it was a promo by one of the chains that was open to everyone.

Not too bad for Top Gun 2 with Tom Cruise.
And if the theater is within a 100-mile radius; you need to consider the gasoline to go and back.
* Price of a liter here is $2.35 + or -

Those fighter jets must be expensive on fuel.

“He eats, sleeps and dreams this job,” said Wyck Godfrey, the former president of production for Paramount. “There is nothing else that takes his attention away. He outworks everyone else. He knows every detail.” - https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/20/b...-maverick.html

^ Steve McQueen, also being quite successful on 2 wheels, for instance, finishing in the top 10 from a field of 500 riders at a prior Elsinore Grand Prix -

Personally (as I couldn’t care less about the novels, nor cliques they’ve established, for me, only motion picture or TV series adaption is of interest), I think that Tom made a far cooler Jack Reacher character in the Reacher movies than does Alan Ritchson in the TV series because, for one thing, you’ve gotta love a little guy taking on more than one -

as compared to -
