I doubt we'll ever see Galactus lol. I don't think they'd pull it off....especially not in New York.

Yeah, that's why they took the direction of not directly showing him in FF2.

A giant purple guy in a pope hat would look rediculous.

I didn't mind the CGI Galactus THAT much, just thought they might as well left him off-camera completely.

I had no problem with the first two. I actually liked the second one better than the first. They weren't the best movies, but they were not terrible. I know a lot of people did not like them, but I did.

Star trek and Wars have gotten away with worse... As long as you yank the Four off Earth, introduce the idea of what other species look like/dress like (Skrulls for example) You could convince folks that a guy with a buckle fascination and a finned chef hat could be a reality. You could make him look creepy and evil. Heck, Bay made giant cartoon robots look believable. Why not Big G?

what about a subtly racist caricature of black folks that has bulging eyes and is a bumbling dolt, yet somehow winds up becoming a Senator that decides the fate of the Republic?

Don't worry, he won't be in it. FF is owned by Fox and he is not under contract with them.
