If Scream has A SIMPLE PLAN, I wonder if there is a chance it will get the 4K treatment now that Paramount is willing to license out titles for UHD.

Don't know how accurate this is.
The Chucky films are (or were) a pretty big franchise. My opinion is if the studio let the Chucky films go, pretty much anything is game. The Jaws sequels don't seem to have the same heft or fanbase as the original film, unlike the Chucky films, so based on that I'd say the chances we'll see Collector's Editions from Shout are even greater. The only possible wrench in this cog could be Spielberg but does he care enough anymore? He didn't care enough to stop the studio from producing increasingly mediocre sequels (I love Part 2, though).

Grabbed the standard package. $113 wasn't too shabby for 3 4Ks with posters and free shipping. I have a feeling all of these will go quick in case anyone is on the fence.

from a business standpoint you want your customers to buy up bundles not just one item so they probably allocated 200 of those figures by itself

Hmmm if Charred Chucky figure sells out this fast, maybe a release of Melted Chucky (From CP 2) and Shredded Chucky (From CP3) figures will be in the works.

The charred figure is also being sold in two different Child's Play bundles, with the same 4,000 wording, so who knows how many of them were allotted to be sold separately, and how many for the other two bundles.

Maybe if the bundles don’t sell very well, they’ll allocate some more to sell by themself. Either way, damn that was fast

I just grabbed Child's Play 3 and Bride Of Chucky from Gruv the other week not anticipating any 4k releases of the series, least of all the sequels...

Agreed 100%.. but we can dream right? Little off topic, but would love even a high-selling 4k horror line from A24. Very surprised Euphoria never got a bluray release. A24 definitely fits the bill with Shout's premium pricing. They go together like peas and carrots.

I was debating on ordering from SF to get the CP2 poster (which I've always wanted) but with the scratched disc issues as of late I just decided to preorder through Amazon since they are very easy to deal with in regards to replacements and then I'll just order a poster of CP2 by itself on another site.

It's such a shame worrying about scratched discs affects purchasing decisions these days.

I was going to order the "Child's Play "Charred Chucky" NECA Action Figure [Limited Edition]". I believe this was just introduced this morning, and a few hours later, it's already sold out! I have never seen an item from Shout Factory, (disc or any figure) being sold out in just a few hours in one day.
I know the website states for the first 4,000 orders; but still, I can't believe it's gone in the same day. It's not like it's Black Friday, or thousands of people are checking Shout's websites in a matter of a few hours.

You can still get it with the movie bundle. They only allocated a small amount to be purchased on their own.

I feel exactly the same way about it. I continue to be astounded that there isn't enough of an uproar from customers to cause them to address the issue.

This has to be one of the coolest opening title sequences of any horror film.

Ouch. I was looking forward to Cat People. I wonder if they had a larger than normal number of preorder cancellations on Lifeforce and now they're re-examining things? Even though I think the problems with that are not applicable to Cat People/Funhouse.

I don’t think it ever came open for sale. I tried to order literally right after it was listed and it appeared the same way it does now. They might be holding off opening preorders for just that since it’s not shipping for quite a few months yet.
