Have to ask though, am I the only one who feels the film is a little overrated? I have only seen it once, and I enjoyed the shootout scene, but other than that, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped. Guess my expectations were sky high going on.

Anxious to give it another chance on 4k though. It’s been years since I saw it.

Same transfer as the one on digital I suppose. The previous 4K discs match the same transfers that were already on digital for Speed and Roger Rabbit.

The detail looks pretty good on digital, it’s just the color grading that makes it look unappealing. Looks really low opacity.

It’s the best bank robbing film of all time and it’s not even just a bank robbing film. There’s so much more to the characters.

I bet it will look better in person! The Al Pacino copy and paste is jarring to look at though. You can tell they just took a random stock photo and made it transparent.

I think the steelbook art captures the feel and essence of the movie and original art way better than the regular. And yeah, will probably look better in person too.

With the release of Avatar 2 coming and re-release of Avatar in theaters, I’m sure a 4K is around the corner
