It sucks that it won't have Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos. I bet it will be the same shitty transfer that is already on iTunes.

Ordered the steelbook!

Have to ask though, am I the only one who feels the film is a little overrated? I have only seen it once, and I enjoyed the shootout scene, but other than that, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped. Guess my expectations were sky high going on.

Anxious to give it another chance on 4k though. It’s been years since I saw it.

Same transfer as the one on digital I suppose. The previous 4K discs match the same transfers that were already on digital for Speed and Roger Rabbit.

Look at the bullet points in the 4K UHD boxout. Unless Director's Audio Commentary refers to something else?

The commentary track is for sure on the 4K disc.

The detail looks pretty good on digital, it’s just the color grading that makes it look unappealing. Looks really low opacity.

It’s the best bank robbing film of all time and it’s not even just a bank robbing film. There’s so much more to the characters.

I quite likes it, not gonna lie. Better than the regular UHD art anyway.

I bet it will look better in person! The Al Pacino copy and paste is jarring to look at though. You can tell they just took a random stock photo and made it transparent.

If Heat sells well, maybe Disney can go back to releasing random catalog titles on 4K Blu-ray.

I’m certain Avatar will be the next 4K after Heat

The big question, the one that everyone wants to know: will there be a Nordic version.

I think the steelbook art captures the feel and essence of the movie and original art way better than the regular. And yeah, will probably look better in person too.

Only if James Cameron can step away from the sequels long enough to work on a 4K remaster.

Still waiting for True Lies, the Abyss, The Terminator, Titanic...

With the release of Avatar 2 coming and re-release of Avatar in theaters, I’m sure a 4K is around the corner
