I wouldn't go that far, yet, but I would agree Nolan's dream influence and time shift prominence has had its day.

Back to the future, hoping his new Memento writing doesn't come to fruition.

Anyone thinks a film bombing is "karma" for the studios for making a dumb decision and that they deserve "reputation-destroying" failure is brain dead.

If that was the case, then there would be no film industry dummy.

I think Pixar is hit and miss and while they have created classics and masterpieces some of there movies are overrated. The montage in UP is truly moving but I was pretty bored for the rest of the movie. Inside Out didn't make me feel what the movie wanted me to feel.

I don't think any filmmaker lucks out into making 4 classics.
