[Show spoiler]I agree, but to do this scene properly they would need to explain the immobilize jinx sometime earlier in the movie. Without the narrative from Harry explaining what happened it might not make sense to everyone.

very true, i'm both nervous and excited for this movie. and since i've read the books, i'm not to worried about spoilers so i'll be reading everything people post on it b/c i don't think i'm gonna make it to the theater for this one!!!

that just means i'll be catching both of part 7 in the theaters!!!

i also wish the op would answer some of these questions!!!

I heard that they took out the
[Show spoiler] battle at the end that is in the book as they didn't want it to be the repeat for the final movie

I read that on the interview with David Yates on comingsoon.net

You didn't like it?! Wow, I never knew that Half-Blood Prince would be a train wreck to the audience....

But, still, I'll tell you my review once I watch the movie.

In the videogame, the tower scene plays somewhat unlike the book, with harry watching through the floorboards

That's correct, but there is abattle at the burrow in the middle of the movie.

I don't understand how they can take
[Show spoiler] the battle out when in the previews it shows Harry telling Snape to fight him. This was all going on during the battle so I assume they've got to have something going on. Would be kind of ridiculous to have Snape just running away by himself.

[Show spoiler]The battle isn't necessary, Snape just needs to be getting Draco off the school grounds.

[Show spoiler] He still needs the distraction.
I guess I'm just one of the ones who would like to have the movies follow the book more closely.

[Show spoiler]He doesn't have a distraction in the book. The only reason he gets away is that everyone thinks he's on the Order's side.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, it would be great if the movie could follow the book word for word, but it's just not possible.
