In the new movie, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

David Yates, who last helmed "Order of the Phoenix," returns for the sixth movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 15th.

Emma Watson is the actress, Hermione is her character in the Harry Potter movies.

It's only showing in 3 IMAX for it's first two weeks. One of them might be close enough for you:

Though as a warning, most AMC theaters (specifically the Los Angeles one above, but not NY) do not contain "real" IMAX screens - according to Aziz Ansari. I chose not to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX when it came out in 2007 and I don't expect to see this in IMAX either. If you're not in NY, Chicago, or LA, you'll have to wait until the 29th.

Yeah, I know. I'll wait for it to come out in the rest of the IMAX theaters. I saw The Order of the Phoenix in IMAX 3D....

. It was unbelievable with the glass flying everywhere and a big water ball floating in the air.

this looks pretty awesome...I'm still not fully happy with the direction the films have gone since Prisoner of Azkaban...it feels like the guys after Alfonso Cuaron are trying to copy his style but darker and mixing it with weirder and weirder costumes...I'm also not a fan of the use of the death eaters as shadow balls or streaks or whatever they are, and in the last one when the fight between the order of the phoenix and death eaters involved them turning into light and darkness, it felt like a cop out to avoid an actual battle...it is a PG-13 they could make it a wee bit more violent, they should stop pandering to the younger audience that is not allowed to see these films anymore anyway...they should stay accurate to the book

still this is extremely exciting!!!!!
