Therefore, why be part of a forum that bans everyone at the mere expression of HD DVD? You wont see people being banned at highdefforum for speaking up about BR- as a matter of fact it is always a welcome topic.

Yes, you are free to do what you would like- I wont argue that, but what is the perception you are sending to anyone who is maybe new to this forum? I would personally be very afraid to talk about the BR / HD DVD debate, specs, information, etc in these forums.

I LOVE HighDefDigests' forum. My best friend (View-it-blu) and I go there all the time, and you'd be surprised at what you can get away with. It's fun calling out all those Retarded Fanboys. I highly recommend it. They're so ignorant over there, and have totally lost a sense for all reality. Just take what they say with a grain of salt (which is all it's worth anyway), and just keep plucking away at their nerves. It's quite fun!

I lasted approximately 30 mins to an hour. it was the most entertaining experiance for me. i was just laughing at every comment they threw at me, because i said "HDDUD SUCKS"

Depends how you define intellectual discussion; that's a fairly subjective definition afterall.

Remember that this is NOT designed to be a neutral site! This site is for people who are interested in Blu-ray specifically, so of course discussion will be biased.

Now AVS or forums like it have far more call to be unbiased and impartial, but look at the situation there.

Many people on this forum have invested in Blu-ray for the long haul so of course we aren't going to react well to suggestions that we're wrong to do that. Perfectly naturally.

If it's impartial debate you want, there are forums out there that should in theory be providing it.
