Warner Bros Ocean's Trilogy 4K UHD (2001-2007)

Warner will be releasing the Ocean's Trilogy on 4K on April 30th. There will be a trilogy release, as well as individual Steelbooks.

Quote:
Ocean's Eleven:

Danny Ocean (George Clooney) leads a group of grifters defying the odds in asplit-second heist of three Vegas casinos owned by a magnate (Andy Garcia) who is dating Danny’s ex-wife (Julia Roberts). If all goes right, the payoff is $150 million. Are you in or out?

Ocean's Twelve:

Danny Ocean and his pals return in a sequel to the cool caper that yielded a $150-million heist. It’s time to pull off another stunning plan – or plans. With locales like Amsterdam, Paris and Rome and the original cast plus Catherine Zeta-Jones, Twelve is your lucky number.

Ocean's Thirteen:

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and more reteam with director Steven Soderbergh for a third split-second caper that stacks the deck with wit, style and cool. No one gets hurt – except double-crossing Vegas kingpin Willy Bank(Al Pacino). Place your bets!

They should look great. As odd as it may sound I always immediately think of that rear-mounted shot of the car with Clooney and Pitt.

Great trilogy, but O13 looks so bad that I wonder if the 4K will improve from the intended look Soderbergh gave it.

O11 is one of my favorite films, and I can watch any three at any time.

I haven't watched the first two since the theatre and have never seen the third. What a great opportunity to revisit/finally watch the third.

Clooney is best in something like O Brother, Where Art thou? I think his level of charm in more serious roles is overhyped.

Hope they do standalones, I'm not interested in upgrading the sequels, but I would for the first movie (and the OG Rat Pack version).

I always think Ocean's 13 as an elseworld's Godfather.

If there was a version where the Corleone family moved back to Vegas and because of x reason they employed a no killing rule. Ocean's 13 is like the result of that if Corleone finally found someone smarter and couldn't kill them to get his prize.

I LOVE 11 & 13. 12 just gets a little too convoluted for me. I find i watch it the least of the 3.

But I will still buy the trilogy because I enjoy seeing all the guys work together & bounce off one another.

Such a fun trilogy and 4K HDR could really make these films pop and fantastic score by David Holmes.

FINALLY!

I watch all three of them at least once a month. 12 is severely underrated.

About time.
According to IMDB, all 3 films have 4k DIs !
I really hope that's true - these could be knock out discs.
Of course, glad these aren't being handled by Paramount. What a relief !

I seriously doubt 11 or 12 have 4K DIs. Honestly, I doubt 11 even had a DI to begin with, given its age. I suspect the "4K DI" label on IMDb is someone confusing a 4K master with a DI; other movies that have been remastered specify the DIs were made later.
