Hahah. I am the weirdo that bought both. (Alone and Ronin) I'm a sucker for a RE Survival horror type game.

This is off topic, but since you brought it up. I’m enjoying AITD (it’s solid despite the mid reviews), but I had to stop playing due to a terrible audio bug that occurs where it cuts out then distorts the audio and doesn’t come back on. It’s terrible. Many players are experiencing it, it happens in the

of the game. Pretty bummed out that I can’t continue until there’s a patch.

I made it to the title. About 90 mins in. I like it, but I’m so bad at these games. Thankfully there is a difficulty setting. I’m on easy, and not ashamed of it, and still suck. Ha. Hopefully I’ll get better.

Looking forward to playing this, but I’m going to hold off and wait for a sale. Bought the disappointing Alone In The Dark at full price (not worth it, wait for it to drop in price. Wish I did.) There’s not much to look forward to on the horizon, so I’ll save this one for a later date.

AITD pales in comparison to the recent RE remakes. Alan Wake 2 is sooooo much better too. Again, very disappointing.

I had the audio bug in the same area (it’s a fairly short section). I quit and closed out the game, booted it back up about an hour later and it was fine and haven’t experienced it since (on my second play through.)

How do you like Ronin so far? The grappling hook? If the full map is open right away or has to be unlocked I wonder.

I love it.

Feels amazing. I suck at Wo Long/Elden ring type stuff and I am doing quite well with this one. Playing on Easy.

I am 14 hours in. This will be as 100 hour plus video game for me. I'm doing everything.

Playing on Ray Tracing mode with Frame Cap off. Combat is soooooo satisfying. I love it so much.

I am a huge Ghost of Tsushima fan and love this just as much.

It's literally Ninja Gaiden : Breath of the Wild lol.

The glider is amazing. I unloccked it like 4 hours in (think I found it beofre story gives it to you. Story part with is is like 6ish hours in. Map is Huuuuge. 3 maps from what I gather. You unlock by raising banners. Great fun. Play it.

The grapeling hook is great. I just unloced the grapple assination on the skill tree.

My biggest gripe is the audio. You have to turn 3d audio on (not on by default). Being a Sony exclusive I expected more from the audio. It does not really utlize 3d sound or the haptics too much. I guess I should have not assumed it would have the same 3d sound/haptic treatment as Ghost if Tsushima.

The graphics are what I expected from a Team Ninja game. Great Death animations. Very earthy tones with color. I think it looks great.

I will give it a go, though just have to complete a number of games I recently got soon.
I am surprised Tecmo went exclusively with Sony instead of other platforms. I guess Sony gives them incentive with a bigger percentage of sales.
