Ok so I have been think about it, and i am considering getting a bigger TV. Not immediatly but some time early 2010. However, If i get over 42", i might have to think about using a different shelf unit. Maybe just mount the tv on the wall behind the shelf. Also thinking about getting 2 tower speakers. to complete the 7.1 system. My receiver isnt trueHD though. What do you think should come first? Receiver, the 2 tower speakers, or a new TV?

Well you have a good and capable receiver in your Sony 720,so that can wait for a little while down the road.

How often do you watch TV and how often do you watch Movies.

And then(not trying to get into personal business)but how long would it take you to save about $275 to $325 dollars?

I watch movies and TV atleast 3-5 hours everyday. I know im lazy!

After i pay off a few things before the end of the year i could come up with atleast 250 in a month if i hold off on blu-ray purchases!

I got a car payment and im trying to pay two credit cards. The car payment takes out over a quarter of my income

Well I see 2 different routes you can take on getting New Speakers(which I would do before the new TV)

Because you will have the money faster for the new speakers then the TV.
And the new speakers will provide a big difference in sound.
Both for Home Theater and also For Music.

Either way you go on the speakers I would take your 4 Klipsch Quintet satelite speakers and use them as both your side surrounds and also your rear surrounds.

So this will give you 7.1 channel sound with a 4 surround speaker set up.

Then I would consider 1 of these 2 set ups for your front speakers and your center speaker.

The Center Speaker is the most important Speaker as it carries more then 50% of all sound in a Movie. It handles almost ALL of the on screen dialouge along with a lot of the front Sound Effects.

Then you need 2 nice front Speakers These handle some of the dialouge as well as a lot of the front sound effects. They also help deliver some of the Bass to your system also.

Always have the same type of Speaker for your Front 3 Speakers. The Center Speaker needs to match your 2 Front Speakers.

Because if you have a car that starts to come on the screen from the left side, you will hear it first on the Front Left Speaker. Then as it goes across the TV Screen the sound will move to your Center Channel Speaker. And finally as it leaves the screen on the right side the sound will move from the center speaker to the right Front Speaker.

So for the sound to move across all 3 Front Speakers they need to be the same so the sound stays the same. That way you cant tell a difference in the sound as it moves from Front Left,to Center, and to Front Right.

With all 3 of the same front speakers you will Not hear a difference in the sound from speaker to speaker. This will make it seem much more realistic that the car went across the screen.

If you use different center speaker then the fronts you will be able to tell as you will hear a difference in sound and the car going across the screen will sound much different.
So you will hear the sound first from the Front Left Speaker. Then From the Front Left it will move to the Center.

Then when it moves from the Center to the other Front the sound will change again. So it will sound different and you will tell when the sound moved from speakers.

So the illusion of the car going across the TV will not happen since the sound will change. So it will look like the car went across the screen but it wont sound like it did at all.

So it will defeat the purpose of what the Home Theater and Surround Sound is trying to accomplish.

With your surrounds they can be different since they arent tied to the action on the screen like the front speakers are.So using the quintet speakers you already have as surrounds will not have a negative effect on the Surround Sound.

So for your Front 3 Speakers I would choose 1 of these 2 options.

Option 1: Polk Audio CS1(center speaker)(2) 5 1/4 inch woofers and a 1 inch dome tweeter.A Great performing speaker on sale for Only $69.99 and FREE Shipping.
(2) Polk Audio Monitor 40's as your Front Left and Right Speakers. Each Speaker has (2) 5 1/4 inch woofers and a 1 inch dome tweeter.

These are the exact same woofers and tweeters used in ALL 3 Front Speakers. And would give you (6) 5 1/4 inch woofers and (3) 1 inch Dome Tweeters for your front soundstage.

The Polk Monitor 40's are $149.00 for the Pair with FREE Shipping.

Here is the link to the Monitor 40's with the Cherry Wood Finish:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882290011

Here is the link for the CS1 Center Speaker with The Cherry Wood Finish:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882290021

The Monitor 40's are Big Speakers but they still need a small stand to get them to a good height/Which should be the height of your ears when you are sitting down.
So you would need stands or something to lift the Monitor 40's about 18 to 22 inches off the floor. As they are about 25 inches tall themselves.

Option 2:
This would use the same Polk Audio CS1 Center Speaker as above.

The two Front Speakers would be Floor standing speakers called the Polk Monitor 50's.They are the same as the Monitor 40's but in a taller cabinet that Doesnt Need a stand.

Here is a link to the Polk Monitor 50's:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882290014

The Monitor 50's cost $239.99 a Pair with FREE Shipping
The Polk CS1 Center Speaker is $69.99

So the Total Cost of Option 2 is:@$310.00 for all 3 Speakers and FREE Shipping

The Total Cost of Option 1 is: @$220.00 for all 3 Speakers and FREE Shipping. But it doesnt include the speaker stands or whatever you use to lift the Monitor 40's about 18 to 22 inches higher.

So this is about the best 2 options for good performing speakers at a Great Price and to have all 3 Front Speakers the Same.
And it will also allow you to keep 7 channel Surround Sound for your Home Theater.

Sorry for the EXTRA LONG POST, but I hope it helped you some instead of confusing you.

Thanks Guys.
I got a little carried away as I started typing and looking at speakers.

But since Mike works until 5AM Central Time he is probably at home getting some quality sleep.

But that book masquerading as a post will be there for him when he wakes up.

Sorry about the time mistake Mike.I dont know what had be thinking at 5AM Central Time.

And I think the choice with the Monitor 50 Tower Speakers is a Great Choice. They are some Great Performers and have some pretty good Bass since they are in the larger cabinet.

I think I am almost as excited about your upgrades as you are.But notice I said almost,as I am sure you are Probably Much More Excited about the upgrades since they are about your system.

I can't speak for Tals, but prices are LESS now than they were 6-8 months ago.....I know my CS10 is less than I paid. They don't make my T90's (European version of the Monitor 60's) any longer.
