200gb disk was just created as a prototype and announced so people could have a general idea how powerful the blu-ray format is. However I'm pretty sure you would have to purchase a new player to read something with that many layers.

HD-DVD announces 50gb HD-DVD disks for release in 2008, and now two blu-ray supporters announce 100gb as if they were trying to say "that was a cute gesture" to the HD-DVD community.

HAHA.. This war is so much fun, it is the highlight of my days.

I hope BDA will finalise this disc soon, well at least preliminary specs first.

mmmmm 100gig BD's we just need a filmware upgrade,I love it.....sorry little guy(hd-DVD)

hd-dvd is such a "toy" format.

and remember TL51 is ROM only, aka can't write/store data, while this bd100 can. the difference is only a year. maybe they launch late 2008, and we have 100gb early 2009
