Such your balls? Such your balls, what?

I'm still all over Twilight Zone - with the age of the source material, I highly doubt there is gonna be any difference whether it is AVS with 40mbps bitrate or VC1 with 25mbps. It's guaranteed to be soft and aged either way, and it was a huge childhood favorite of mine I haven't seen in years, and one I've never seen in its OAR.

BD will gain back the 9 Neilsen points they lost last week and hopefully some of these releases will spill over to next week as well.

remember some people are holding out for the 16th. so Blu numbers should be more than they are.

Out of that list I'd definitely get Robocop and Edward Scissorhands.

I just thought I would bring to you guy's attention:

About "28 Days later"

It was shot on a Canon XL1 consumer video camcorder. PAL
Standard Resolution!!
It has a native 4:3 chip that uses only part of its ccd panel for a 16:9 mode so it utilizes less than 480 lines!
The XL1 Pal is native 50i but had a 'frame' mode for 25 fps shooting. The us version cam was 60i,30 frame mode.

Bottom line is this title should NOT be on HDM!
No more than Open Water. The resolution isnt there.

PAL is 576i50 for a 25fps image.

Yeah, probably not the best PQ, but two things: 1) might as well get since getting 28 weeks later and it will look good on my collection and 2) support Blu to the fullest!!!! with another title

I agree with that. Thanks a lot for the info. I read somewhere that the last scene in the movie, where the survivors were sewing & displaying the SOS banner, was shot on film. So, for what it's worth, I guess the short film segment will look great on Blu-Ray compared to DVD.
