I couldn't make out all the info you wanted to know, but I can try.

From my job I can't access my PS3 using the PSP due to the firewall my job uses to prevent certain pages from being accessed. One of those is "games and electronics" which sucks.

When I'm at my mom's house, or any house that has a Wifi connection, I can access my PS3 which is linked to my PC-file server using the Meda Server option and can access all my pictures, songs, and ripped movies. This is an awesome feature as I carry the Component cable. At my mom's house I've put it on her TV and we've watched a few episodes of THe Simpsons/Family guy (Bitrate is a bit low, wished the PSP-Slim came with 802.11g not b, oh well). At the library its awesome cuz I can access my songs and not have to keep editing the content on my 2GB memory stick.

You can access the internet on the PSP through the PS3's browser if you remote connect, but there is a noticeable lag and if you are at home there is no pointing in doing this honestly haha.

If you click the Triangle I think it give syou the option to copy files over, I haven't tried it buy will if you want me to.

Remote Play is a great feature and I wish Sony will release more games that take advantage of this feature. I'd love to be able to access a PS1 game if I leave it in the drive.

Here is to hoping for future firmware features.

I can connect to my PS3 through remote play online on the PSP even when at home (I do this in my bedroom as I didn't run a cable line, nor wanted to install a small PC but the PSP does a great job hooking it up to my switch and then displaying my file server content on the TV.) Check your router settings, it might be set to block all outside pings/connections.
