Default Do I need a wireless router for PSP to talk to PS3

Okay,

I've tried to connect my PSP wirelessly to my PS3. My PS3 is currently hooked to my wireless router. If I eliminate the wireless router, can I still wirelessly sync my PSP to the PS3?

Wow, the PSP is the perfect companion to my PS3. I now have a truly multimedia hub. Remote Play is awesome. I decrypt my DVDs, encode them in MP4 format and put them on my PS3 and with remote play I can see them anywhere in the world!

Awesome! How do you decrypt the DVDs? Are you talking about PSP DVDs?

I think he means the way people usually rip their DVD's to their PC harddisk..

Which we're not going to go into detail about here because of the forum rules.
