shutter island was great all around but the best pics don't come out till November....

1. Kick-ass
2. Ironman 2

Hopefully Salt, Airbender and Expendables will fill out my five. If M. Night lets me down again then Machette wont.

I'm having difficulty coming up with one more. Maybe Splice, Daybreakers or The Crazies, all of which surprised me.

I'd like to say The Secret in Their Eyes because the acting was great and there was a great story in there but it was undermined by relying on too many implausibilities.

Looking back on the movies that have came out so far... it makes me realize that everything I want to see comes out from July on up. I know good & well that Inception, Toy Story 3, Saw VII and The Expendables would make my list at the end of the year.

I've only been to movie theatres three times this year, so Clash only in my top 5 by default.

1. Kick-Ass
2. Iron Man 2 IMAX 3D
3. Clash of the Titans IMAX 3D

I expect Clash to easily disappear from my list tho' after seeing Inception, Toy Story 3, Tangled, Tron Legacy, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 when I see them in theatres.

1--iron man 2 (very good movie stays in my 5)
2-- shrek forever (i wasnt into the 3rd one..but this one made me a shrek fan again)
3-- the last song (chick flick that i thought would put me to sleep..actually had a interesting story..and im not afraid to say it lol)
4-- clash of the titans (i had high hopes and was sorta let down..not sure if i will buy this but it was good.the best part to me was the kracken in the new version.will look good on blu-ray.)
5-- dear john (it was decent not the best..and yes chick flick again lol)

bounty hunter and tooth fairy also but they dont get in the 5 lol

these are 2 i know we will be seeing...
toy story 3
last airbender they will probably take some spots in my five.


wish they would make a new westeren this year...i watch 3:10 to yuma alot..very nice blu-ray to own...

It's interesting that almost everyone is listing Kick-Ass when the movie was a box office failure. I wanted to see it, but it was gone to make room for Iron Man 2 before I could get around to it.

box office isnt an indicator of quality. I dont think people knew exaclty what the movie was. The trailers made look like another "Superhero Movie"

It made a little over 100 million worldwide on a 28 million dollar budget. I also expect the DVD/Blu-Ray Sales to be huge. I wouldn't call that a box office failure....
