Well it's been a while since I watched my Big Fish BD but I don't remember any pixelation at all on a 1080p display. In fact I think it looked very nice and less fuzzier than when I saw the movie slightly out of focus and full of flare in a theater.

Could you tell me all the settings your use?

Big Fish wasn't too bad at all, but it was kind of noticable at certain scenes.

mmm 100% white (level 235) at the LCDs max light output, gamma of about 2.35, 4% pluge (level 25) not visible (1000:1+ darker) on an average background, 75% colors/hues (level 180) flat (blue filter), D65 white point, sharpness flat (no enhancement or boosting), 1:1 pixel mapping, no auto anything or enhancement on. Usually watched at about 2PH from movie format's image height if an excellent transfer
