You shouldnt be able to change to PLIIx with a DTS source, but should be able to change to Neo:6 if you want. I don't recommend that as it creates a matrixed rear channel from a 5.1 source, not a real discrete rear channel. My guess as to why you can't change it on one movie and you can on another is maybe because they are different bitrates?? I'm speculating here, maybe someone else knows better but I think it would just be best to use those surround modes for stuff like video games.

So on the dts ma movies that I can change what would be the best do you think to leave the onkyo on?
