You should be able to order if you're from Canada. Some items they won't ship to Canada, but I think they will ship all media (CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray, etc.).

I've been ordering from amazon.com for many years and I have never had any problems. I'm also from Quebec.

Actually, I've ordered from amazon.ca, amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.jp and amazon.de and I've never had any problems. Always books, cd's or dvd's though.

There's the catch. No free shipping for International customers.

I order blu-ray discs from amazon.COM all the time. Cheaper and no tax too... what a deal ;-) Only pay for shipping. The order is maybe electronically transferred across the border?? Who knows how it works... but with a strong canadian dollar it ends up being a good deal :-)

I always order from amazon.com. Even though the shipping is $5.96 per item it's still cheaper than .ca I've ordered about 20 movies the last 2 months during those BOGO sale. It was well worth it. My next purchase is the Bourne HD Trilogy for $49.95. Should be shipping any day now

Also try jr.com and deepdiscountdvd.com Their shipping is cheaper and the delivery time is the same 7 business days max

I always check AMAZON.COM first... prices on AMAZON.CA for the same items are outrageous...

I have ordered 21 BD's in the last 2 months and all using AMAZON.COM...

I haven't tried jr.COM or DEEPDISCOUNTDVD.COM yet.. Has anyone been hit with customs when getting an order form those sites?

Just make sure you are ordering at least 2-3 discs and the shipping will not be so bad, easily covered by the much lower prices...

I have ordered from Barnes and Noble as well as deep discounts; each only once. Did not get taxed at customs but it did take a relatively long time.

The deepdiscount order was around $50 plus shipping of $5.95. So with the bogo or whatever, it is still a lot cheaper.

I have also ordered from J&R. Took a little longer than Amazon and their online status is not quite correct for Canadian orders. Was not charged tax or handling (but it was not a huge order). Shipping rates are reasonable (slightly less than Amazon if I remember correctly)

Wonder how you folks do not have to pay taxes, since UPS , to my knowledge, never pass up on taxes.

It ticks me off you can't get all the releases from U.S. in Canada. I am still looking for Van Wilder and AC/DC for god's sake!

I always find that SHOPBOT.CA does a good job to look for Canadian retailers at a quick glance (american retailers have an american flag - prices all in CAD)
