Holy shit, how it gives me goosebumps every time.

I will have to give that a shot as I was using the airport walkthrough as my 'turning the knob all the way up to 11' scene.

I think the best surround sound in the movie is the exploding objects during the Paris cafe scene.

Nobody else liked the audio during the initial chase when they get into Yusuf's dream on level 1? Or the no grav fight on level 2?

Remember, in Mombasa Eames said that when performing inception, the idea should be in its simplest form. With Mal, the inception of 'the world not being real' is neatly tied to the totem, which is the link to reality. So, at its simplest, by Cobb corrupting her link to reality in her subconscious (the top forever spinning), Mal thought the real world was a dream.

Anywho, just listened to the 5.1 score. Damn awesome!
ok, that makes sense for when they are in limbo i guess.... but why couldnt he just show her the spinning totem in real life and watch it fall together... showing her it wasnt a dream they were living

I was only referring to the score and not the action sequences, because they were all awesome and gripping. It's just that when you start a movie with that electronic music score, you know your speakers are getting the workout of their life

[Show spoiler]There's where viewer opinion comes in. Some viewers would ask the same question, while others chalk it up to that she probably saw the real life totem fall, but since the point of inception is to plant an idea (with ideas being the most resilient parasite, as stated by Dom in the beginning), she would always have doubts as to what is reality. Even with her seeing proof, she would always think the real world is not real in the back of her mind.

I'm just stating what I've read over in imdb, so form your conclusions on that one.

I'm just wondering. Was there something important when Ariadne made those glass walls in the first dream sequence?

Not really. It just showed how creative she was as a architect.

I don't remember seeing any glass walls. Are you referring to those two large mirrors that she put in front of each other to give the illusion of infinite mirrors? The importance of that scene is that after the mirror shatters when Ariadne places her hand on it, behind the mirror is a walkway (previously there wasn't anything behind the mirror, just a dead end).

Yes, that is what I meant. Makes more sense now. Thanks for replying. Love this movie. And thanks to Amazing808s.

I just listened to the score today on the second disc.

Holy cow - what a sonic powerhouse! Loved it. I wasn't feeling well and I decided to do some reading to Inception, and it didn't make me healthier, but it sure was a nice distraction.

That's what I've been wondering. Since Leo's been in limbo before, and knows that the way out is killing yourself, why is going into limbo such a huge deal?

I'm surprised Inception didn't win many awards at the Golden Globes. Maybe it'll win a few more at the Oscars.

Why would that surprise you? And, it certainly won't win any more at the Oscars when they lump all films into one category, instead of split up into two like the Globes do. The movie just isn't that good.
