If it were up to me they would all be like the old Superbit DVD's.

That is,.. sparse menus and just all the high quality audio and video you can possibly fit on the disc and nothing but the movie.

To me,.. the movie is a stand alone experience. I don't want to know how the stunts were done of if it rained when they were trying to get outdoors scenes done. I don't want all the actors to tell me how wonderful the director was and how having him in charge brought it all to another level.

The film is what it is and I'll think what I want about it and the finished product is what I care about not how much trouble they had making it or how much they want to congratulate themselves.

Lucky for you guys who like "extras" the decision isn't mine to make.

-Brian

p.s. I have no problems with a second disc packed with "extras." I'll never spin it but it serves a purpose and doesn't take anything away from the main attraction.
