I got the 3D. It was the same price as the 2D version after the $5 coupon so why not?

My point was that the notion that there is going to be another 3D standard to replace Blu-Ray 3D is nonsense. Blu-Ray 3D will play in 3D on all future 3D displays from here to eternity.
