No problem. For what it's worth, I think the disc probably isn't worth all the import fees and such, unless you really love Greenaway or the film itself. I'm sure I'll end up double dipping as soon as a better transfer with nicer audio and some extras comes up, but right now I'm in heaven just knowing I get to watch this amazing movie in HD. I hope some more, better HD releases of Greenaway's films pop up soon anywhere in the world, because I don't care if I have to import/buy a multi-region player. I'm getting them as soon as they're available.

Audio is dolby digital. I thinks image is just ok.

De acuerdo. Mejor que ver el DVD, definitivamente, pero podría ser mucho mejor.

I have the Miramax/Lionsgate out of print DVD.
And in Blu-Ray I have A Zed And Two Noughts y The Baby Of Macon (this looks incredible)!

Habrá que pedirles que nos den su opinion a Albino Priest o Cuau-cg quuienes han comprado el disco.

Yo tuve entre mis manos este disco hace unos días pero no lo compré. En la contraportada decía 1080i y audio 2.0 (Que según nos han confirmado es Dolby Digital).
Los títulos de Zima NO suelen incluir extras más allá de el trailer, galería de fotos y nimiedades de ese tipo.

En vista de lo anterior "supongo" que la compra es recomendada SOLO para los que sean muy fanáticos del cine de Greenaway y/o para los que no quieran esperar a la eventual edición británica o a que Anchor Bay la edite en BD (asumiendo que aun posean los derechos de este título), lo cual puede ser pronto o tardar muuucho tiempo. Es un volado.

Bueno, en la caja lo que dice es 1080p a 23.98 FPS. El disco es bare-bones y el audio es, en efecto, Dolby Digital 2.0 únicamente. Yo lo recomendaría sobre todo a aquellos que no tengan ninguna copia de la película, o que quieran ver la cinta en HD, pero estoy seguro que saldrá una versión de mayor calidad en el futuro, y que no será una edición mexicana. El precio es razonable, y la película pues... me imagino que si están interesados, no necesitan un comentario al respecto.

He visto miles de transfers de video mejores, pero si lo que desean es esta película en una calidad de imagen relativamente alta, sin importar el audio ni los extras, adelante. Yo no me arrepiento en lo absoluto de haberlo comprado, pero tampoco es que no me dé cuenta de las deficiencias del lanzamiento. Sólo estoy feliz de tenerla en mi colección, pero sigo alerta a la aparición de una versión más digna.

The same label also released Nightwatching some time later, but that release is 1080/50i and it doesn't include any of the previous extras (the US/UK DVD is stacked).

do you happen to know who happens to own the UK video rights to 'Prospero's Books' ??
