See my post above yours. Ice Age isn't authored with advanced content. Spiderman is.

By giving up resume playback, what is the advantage of using Advanced Content? I don't see anything special from Spiderman that uses Advanced Content. It only has 2 trailers and no special features. IceAge that doesn't use Advanced Content has special features.

That's the one feature from my old Sony DVD player that I miss, mine could remember where up to 6 discs left off.

I haven't seen too many players that have great memory.

Typically advanced content would be a game, like Liar's Dice on POTC, or PiP or some such. Assuming you're talking about SM3, I can't see anything, but something's there since the load time is hellacious - a sure sign of advanced content.

The advantage is in the eye of the beholder. For me, I just want the movie. Other's value the extra stuff. Ideally, the players should be able to do both and it's a known, unresolved problem for all players - BD and HD DVD.

Don't I know it! My Phillips handled about six, as well. My 1200 - only one.
