If people shouldn't bother buying HD BD movies with a SD TV, why should they bother paying $60 for HD BD games which look VERY bad on SD televisions, as sometimes the text is barely readable? Whereas BD movies look just as good if not better then DVDs on SD TVs?

I don't see why you would buy your favorite moves in SD now, only to rebuy them again on BD when you get an HDTV.

I just dont get it.

Unless you plan on having a SD television for the rest of your life.
