The back picture is sort of blurry...I can't read if it mentions if these are flippers or not.

I could read it pretty well, and I didn't see any mention of flipper discs.

It says they're on BD-50s. No mention of flippers.

It states dual layer on the bottom right and since it shows BD + DVD on the spine I'd have to say they're flippers.

I guess best buy is done with BD steelbooks and is only doing DVDs now. Perhaps I'm in a time warp... Could someone remind me what year this is?

This is a BD steelbook. It says so right on the spine. It will be going right next to my BB BD steelbooks of Fast Five, and Green Lantern.

They're not flippers. If they were flippers, the back would've read Color/BD-59.

It says Color/BD-50.

This thing is ****ing gorgeous. All of that embossing and debossing is great. It's a god damn shame it's G1 sized, as I would have bought it in an instant if it was G2.

It's going to be flippers discs I'm sure. It says blu-ray + dvd on the spine which is a telltale sign. Also, how would they fit 6 discs into a dvd sized case? They're flippers guys.

G2 = BD and PS3 case size
