Halo was fun at first but I just don't think it's challenging enough. The most challenging part of it is trying to find teammates that have any stratigical skills for online play.

And I'm tired of ALL fanboys, even if they support my gear of choice. Because by definition a fanboy is someone that doesn't know the whole story and just talks smack about anything other than what they have. Because what "THEY HAVE" is the coolest just because it's what "THEY HAVE"

I can't wait 'till we finally get a ps3 game that utilizes all of it's power and just makes us go

Yeah I agree about the fanboy thing. And, yeah the PS3 has all this power...they just need to take advantage of all of that and take a HUGE step forward!

I heard the main issue with this is that the Cell Broadband is so different from anything else, that to effectively utilize its potential they have to program games in an entirely different way. I'm thinkin' most developers don't want to have to be completely re-educated on programming. But when we get some overzealous programmers that just want to LEARN LEARN LEARN it will be on for sure. I'm excited

Most people I have talked to are disappointed with their 360. Everyone i've spoken to have had to replace it. Given this and the durable rep of the PS3, I think the PS3 will easily overtake the 360 in sales.

Between faulty systems and newer better consoles, I've had 5 of them Too bad there's still a few exclusive titles or I would've gotten rid of my latest one already.

I don't see this happening for quite awhile. The PS3 is gaining ground due to being a known quality movie player, but gaming is still lagging due to lack of titles. They are coming, but very slowly.

i agree with you that the PS3 is a great blu-ray player, but i think your take is a little off. the majority of PS3 owners dont even know there system is blu-ray capable. if every PS3 owner bought even just a couple Blu-ray movies, sales would multiply by 25 (guesstimation).

not slowly just well now really;
2008 year of the PS3; Killzone 2, GTA IV, HAZE, GT5, Resistance 2, MGS4 an lots of others also in 2008. Also PSM3 UK said the best year of the PS2 was its second (2002) and they were pretty sure of the same thing for the PS3.

Oh and does anyone else have a feeling of deja vu for the third time. PS1 people criticised it through its early times, PS2 people criticised it and DVD through there early times. Now with PS3 and BD its hapening all over again.

Ohh and to anyone who says "BD is pointless because of DVD" say well why dont we use VCD then? (The PQ on VCDs s terrible)

Several games have already made me do that. Motorstorm, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Call of Duty 4, GT5: Prologue, just to name a few. Not to mention all the in game footage I've seen of MGS4, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, etc.
