I've got HDMI from the cable box to the Plasma, Digital audio Cable from Cable Box to receiver, Blu-Ray connected via HDMI direct to Plasma and Blu-Ray connected to receiver via Optical cable. These are the only things connected.

I can disconnect the component cables from the receiver, leaving them connected to the back of the Plasma, and everything works as if they were still connected with absolutely no PQ change or audio change. I've probably answered my own question but I want to make sure there isn't something I'm missing here.
