Yeah, it has felt like forever. I've also been waiting ages for Neil Blomkamp's Elysium, and then District 10.

We really need to be seeing something of that one, next March is way too long for that one to come out

I'm with all three of you. The wait for both this and Elysium has been way too long! Give us trailers, or just be out already! The wait is killing me. Blomkamp and Johnson are two of my favorite working directors in Hollywood right now, and the wait between each of their movies is exhausting. Hurry up!

After Brick and The Brothers Bloom, I'm convinced Johnson would make the best Bond film if Wilson and Broccoli would allow him some free reign.

And Criterion needs to pick up Brick. Just sayin'.

Criterion needs Brick ASAP. I've been waiting forever for it to hit blu-ray. My dvd copy doesn't even play correctly and freezes half way through.

Johnson could make a great Bond movie if given the freedom to do so. I'd like to see what he'd turn out.

We think alike. All I kept thinking during The Brothers Bloom (besides how brilliant it was) was how the man has the chops to bring grandeur back to the franchise. Mendes may do that but Johnson would knock it out of the park.

Let's hope that something like that happens one day. I would already be there opening night, but that would just secure that as one of the most anticipated Bond movies that's been made in my lifetime. Though Skyfall is looking to be shaping up quite nicely so far.

I know...And so is The Outsiders. The two releases I've been waiting for the longest, and I can't get them. I don't have a region free player, I watch everything through my Playstation 3, and since it doesn't look like those will be region free anytime soon, I'm basically SOL for right now. I'd get the Canadian release, but the aspect ratio has been messed with on the disc so I'm not going to get it. The US needs to release a version already. Preferably a Criterion release...

I read a test screening review and the guy seemed convinced that this might be on the same sort of scale as Inception

Joe and I recorded three vignettes for iTunes trailers leading up to the release of the teaser trailer on Thursday. Today we talk a little about the premise, tomorrow about the feel of the world, and Wednesday about the makeup process and the thinking behind the prosthetics approach.

District 9 was the best film of 2009 but the more time passes, I don't feel there's a need for a sequel. There's nowhere else the story needs to go.
