Great response post, good of you to take the high road. All too often people lash out and you simply explained yourself. What a sad state that I am applauding this, but I am none-the-less.

I would recommend taking the leap to Blu though... There is such a difference in sound quality and picture quality over standard def DVD. Clearly you can choose how to spend your hard earned money, but I think you would quickly become as passionate as the rest of us if you gave it a shot! I hope you'll continue to post here! Welcome
