It's really quite interesting the "types" of people which HD DVD seems to largely attract.

Xbox 360 fanboys who hate everything Sony because Sony time and time again hands Microsoft their asses?

They ***** and whine about Blu-Ray being a "PS3 format" but don't care if 360 helped out the HD-DVD format.

Furthermore to the OP are you surprised that the Red-shirts {like on Star Trek} are a little angry about HD-DVD losing?

I mean really, if you were completely oblivious to market trends and siding with 2 companies {Microsoft and Toshiba} against the rest of the CE companies on the planet, then complain about the price all the while purchasing 250 movies on your format then you deserve to lose.

Honestly, I can't find 250 movies on BOTH formats that I would want to buy, so someone buying 250 movies on ONE format seems a little silly to me personally. I mean different strokes and all that but that just smacks of a little desperation for your format to win to me. Especially since you don't know if that format is going to win.
