Default I am not sure about offical release dates for Asia and the rest of the world

Currently in the US the only Sony with 1080P/24 is a SXRD front projector. In July in the US Sony is scheduled to have two LCD rear projectors with 1080P/24 with correct refresh rates and possible some 1080P/24 SXRD might show up in September.
As for the rest of the world including Asia I do not know what Sony has planned. Just about any country that has BLU-RAY will also have some highend 1080P/24 displays. Over the next few years there will be a lot more displays released by many different companies around the world that accept a 1080P/24 signal with refresh rates at multiplies of the original frame (48HZ, 72HZ, 96HZ, 120HZ, etc)
Some of the cheaper lower cost displays coming out will take a 1080P/24 signal and convert it to 60HZ like all BLU-RAY and HD-DVD players do. For those types of displays it might be better to set ones BLU-RAY player to 60HZ if the frame rate conversion circuitry is better in the BLU-RAY player compared to the poorly made 1080P/24 display that only refreshes at 60HZ.
