for those that like the surivival-type zombie movies , The Dead is a good take on zombies. It's not as action packed as most others but I liked it.

THE HORDE

It's kinda like THE RAID REDEMPTION but with Zombies!!!!

I highly recommend it!!

I rented it and thought it was borderline horrible. Horrible PQ, AQ, acting, story, and it about bored me to death.

Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone and there isn't too much action in it but I thought it was a good attempt at trying something different.

Have you ever seen an Asylum release or Syfy original movie?

It's not the best movie ever, but horrible is a bit harsh.

I just like the review. Everything about it was horrible, but the movie itself was borderline horrible.

I enjoyed it! The video quality of The Dead was intentional direct from it's source. The movie was suppose to have a gritty, nostalgic image, rather than a pristine look.

I didn't expect a pristine look. However, I didn't expect an HD camcorder look either.

It was filmed in 35 mm and there's film grain all over the picture. There's nothing HD camcorder about it.

Right, but it looks like it was shot with one. It doesn't look like a typical 35mm film.

It has an original storyline and no CGI for starters. Also it has Tony Todd a great actor...

It's a very mature and understated remake. And it doesn't star any annoying WB channel-type actors that are impossibly beautiful. They all look like just normal people.
