Region Free Blu-Ray Players?

Does anyone know if PS3 will aventually be able to play discs from all regions?

I am from Australia and our blu-ray selection is fairly poor, I have purchased most of my blu-ray movies from amazon, selecting the movies that are region free. I didnt want to go out and buy another player that is region (A), I am hoping manufacturers will start releasing region free players soon.

Under current licensing arrangements player manufacturers must implement RPC and not incorporate built-in backdoors or workarounds.

Here in Greece we have blu-ray only from Sony Pictures but we get them one or two months before USA......In Europe Warner,Paramount and Fox have only released blu-ray in France,Germany,UK and Spain......the other countries are still waiting..............but i buy my blu-ray movies from Play.com(Region B-Europe/Australia)..........but you can buy from amazon.com Warner and Paramount titles.....they are region free..........

PS3 games are NOT region encoded, but PS2 games still are.
