I was listening to John Clayton on SVP & Russillo on ESPN Radio and he said if the Ravens and Joe Flacco can't get a deal worked out the Ravens will franchise Flacco, and that he thinks a deal will eventually get done that will average $15-$17 million per year.

As a Patriots fan I really hope that happens.

He thinks he is, remember the off-season when he and his agent tried to get the Ravens to sign him to a top 5 QB contract, mostly based off the argument of his career record.

Tebow's CFL rights are owned the the Montreal Alouettes. Maybe in a few years he can come in and attempt to be Calvillo's replacement. No pressure. Just replace the greatest QB statistically in CFL history (and pro football history when it comes to total passing yards).

Tebow will never play in the CFL. When he can no longer find an NFL job he'll just go join ESPN and make insane amounts of money on TV and the speaking circuit.

Reports are that Tebow is annoyed about being leaped by McElroy and will request a trade or to be outright released at end of year.

Can I laugh at this being hypocritical? Did he speak out against being leaped over Brady Quinn last year when he was 3rd but got to start when they gave up on Orton?

It really sounds like the Jets lied to him about a lot of things, he has a right to be upset. I don't blame him one bit to ask for a trade, he deserves better than the way the Jets treated him. He's a really good guy.

Well, apparently everybody in the world except him knew it would turn out badly in New York.

He really should have went to Jacksonville. Maybe that's where he'll end up next year.

I know... Flacco is still trying to get to Tebows top 10 level, and I'm not even sure he could reach that. Way too much money. Ravens should trade 2 first rounders for tebow.

He can be a nice contributor in the right offense. If it weren't for the media circus, I could see New England really using him well. But yes, New York was a horrendous fit for him.

That whole situation with Tebow is a mess... I think part of the problem with bringing him over in the first place is a matter of ownership wanting to steal headlines away from the Giants in the NY media following their Super Bowl run. Ryan clearly wants nothing to do with the guy.

If this happens I will have lost all faith in the Ravens front office. Flacco only has a good career record because of the defense. He is not worth top 10 money let alone top 5.

I would rather make a run for Micheal Vick than re-sign Flacco at anything more than 6 mill a year.
