For you maybe. I personally buy them because I like the way they look compared to regular cases. I don't really care about the worth at all, and think that scalpers on eBay etc are really distasteful in what they're doing.

In the case of Star Trek, I already have the two disc edition, and since this will probably be single disc, I think I'm gonna pass, unless it looks absolutely amazing.
