Thanks so much for being so responsive, it really helps a lot! I know his "I guess" floored me, which is why I think if the TV does not work with the new player then I will absolutely go ape crazy on them.

I just looked on the support website and they only have an update for the firmware only from 11/29/2012 so I'm going to see if that works!
