The 50" -800 should start off around $3199 and drop within a few weeks by about 20%.

Has anyone confirmed that the -85 series can't do 24p? I looked in the manual and it states that it has a vertical refresh rate capability of 48Hz, which is 2:2 on 24p.

Initially on Panasonic's website the specs released only stated 2:3, but the initial press release with the models on it says the -85 series will all have 24p nativve reproduction and the owner's manual seems to concur with this.
