so a printed off coupon isn't illegal and a store will accept it, its just frowned upon? is that right?

If a coupon says "Do not copy" then it would technically be fraud to print it off and try to use it. However, some won't look close enough at it so you might be able to get them to accept it.

If it is an internet coupon or one that states copies are fine then there are no issues using it.

Some has also reported that all they do is scan it and it gets discarded. So the discount is fed to the studios. Physical coupon in actuality is not needed.

This needs to be confirmed though from a retailer.

Walmart has very low prices on BD's, but their customer service is horrible.

I've always gotten good customer service at the one I go to. Once I left something in the cart, went back 5 minutes later, and it was at customer service waiting for me to pick it up.

I have no idea if mine in salinas ca. has good customer service, I called them looking for a powerwheels ride on toy for my son, the first 4 people on the phone did not speak english!!, the last person had such a bad accent, that I just hung up after waiting 8 mins in the phone. I will never do business there again.

It is an ethical issue more than anything. It is not illegal to use a coupon.

If the coupon was online and ready to print, then YES it would be legal. But because your supposed to buy a DVD to get the coupon, then yes its illegal. If they didnt care who used the coupon, dont you think a COMPANY not some kids would post it online?

Isn't that how walmart works? they come into a small city, eliminate the competition with low prices, then jack them up?

And it's not customer service that's the reason people hate walmart, it's THEIR ethics, so don't give me any of this "Unethical" BS. They should pay their employees better, and maybe not exploit them. Then I'll give them some respect

pretty close to it. As much as I like low prices, from a business point of view Walmart is pure evil.

now i live in 2 different places about equally. One is a big city, the other is a small town (has a walmart though, only place most college kids shop here). I will tell you that the prices in the city are lower for sure. However, I will go far from calling them evil.

They do quite a bit of good, even though they have done some questionable things. So I can't call them evil.

No other store would hire somebody just to say hello, wal-mart hires the elderly and disabled to do that and gives them meaning to their lives and a paycheck.

Wal-mart will hire the mentally handicapped, not many other places do that.

Wal-mart offers some of the lowest prices. There is a reason why college kids here go there, the other stores that sell similar stuff cost more money, gives me more dough to buy blu if I go to Wally World.

They pay a good base wage. You don't see them hiring for min. wage.

They sponser many charitable things.

Don't get me wrong, they have done some very questionable things, but I can think of many other corporations that do to. For some reason people like to come down hard on Walmart.
