PS3/Onkyo 805 Audio Problem.. Still.. after 3 months -_-V

I dont know why, but whenever i pop in a blu ray and select the audio from the Movie, it wont pop up, the receiver keeps going to either ALL CH STEREO or MULTICHANNEL, and it sounds like crap. I popped in Saw4 and selected 7.1 DTS HD AUDIO, and ALL CH STEREO still came up.

Anyone? Is something wrong on the receiver end?

I have the same exact setup -- and it sounds to me like everything is working perfectly. The PS3 is doing the decoding and sending to the 805 as LPCM. The PS3 does not bitstream multichannel next-gen codecs (that is what you need for the "TrueHD" and other things to light up on the receiver). Just check the "info" or "display" button on the PS3 it should show what audio codec is being decoded and used in the upper right hand corner.

If it "sounds like crap" then either you need new speakers or your ears need checked.
