But the chance for it, and other shows like Seinfeld, being released is slim because of the fact that they originally aired in 4:3, and the purists are insane about keeping this (and generally insane), while most of the world does not want burn-in on their screens and therefore want 16:9. I will buy this show, and Seinfeld, if they ever get released, because the HD transfers for HDTV are subpar and compressed all to hell, and there is a carrier logo.

Actually only the first 3 seasons were 4:3, the last 6 were shot natively in 16:9. Also, even the first 3 seasons have been re-formatted to 16:9 for HD broadcast, so the material is there.
