So for anyone interested.... These things are pretty darn crazy. My son and I did the fan mod this morning and then calibrated all the new subs to the others and mains. The amp is a epx2000 that is running each channel at 2 ohm load. The new fans are 19 db 26cfm and the amp stayed cooler than my receiver durring the hulk movie. Useing the tones in the receiver I am 6 db hot but. When useing the Disney WOW. It claims I am 12db hot. But it sounds pretty balanced with the mains that hot. The 2 rows of seating in my room are now pretty close SPL wise. Before the new rear subs it was a lot louder on the front row. The amp is now running a single RCA in and set to mono. On the amp I set the rear subs 4 clicks lower that the front witch is at max. I have the subsonic filter at about 10hz and had no trouble with the hulk. No port noise, bottoming out or unloading. Never sounding stressed or being pushed to the max. The sound gun scene was great. The 50 cals sounded and felt amazing. Final fight scene was brutal. It pounded the hell out of my room and finally had that shake the hell out of you that I have been shooting for.I can finally say I am satisfied with the LFE in my room.
