Well were do I begin - first I have to say I sort of like the first one in the series. I'm a big fan of just about anything in this genre. Like Jason Statham and have been a fan of John Rhys Davies since I first saw him in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Additionally I've always had a thing for Leelee Sobieski so it helps that she is in it. The biggest problem I've always had with the film was Ray Liotta - he seemed so out of place in that role that it was difficult to watch any scene with him in it.
I own the second one as well - picked it up at a pawnshop for $2 and have yet to watch it. Will get around to it someday. Do not have high expectations for it but once again considering the subject matter I will probably like it. As far as the third one goes I'll probably get at some point as well (hopefully another pawn shop find). |
