From what I could find out, Sean McKee has been with IVC since September 2011. The Apes films hit Blu-ray in 2008. The article has a 2014 copyright date at the bottom of the screen. It seems to be talking about a new restoration, but why scan it at only 2K if the present Blu-ray looks so good. The article states that it was mainly a cleanup (dirt removal, etc,) to further preserve the image. Is there a plan to release this to theaters this Spring/Summer maybe?
