GH3 online = exercise in frustration

I agree, that's one of the reasons why (that and the other reason, adding stupid notes that don't even exist in the damn song!) I went out and bought Rock Band last year. I play more Rock Band and GHII than I do GHIII. I think Harmonix hit the nail on the head when it comes to game play and online play with RB. Although online is not perfect (and they have a lot of room for improvement) I like it so much better than GHIII.

The only thing I like about GHIII...is the guitar. I love the wireless guitar and the strum bar more than RB's. For some reason I think the strum bar just seems too loose. I play RB with the GHIII controller exclusively.

...and yes that means I have it for Xbox 360...please don't think any less of me...

I like the strum bar on the GH3 guitar better, but that's it. The buttons are hard to push down compared to RB (my hand actually is sore from playing for about 45 minutes . . . never happens with RB), and the gap between them is too big. There's a mod out there for the RB guitar strum bar that adds the clicky feel of the GH3 guitar. I'm seriously considering it. It's like 20 bucks.
