GameStop Pre-Recorded just called me twice about the Midnight Opening Launch and Contest. :sigh: 10PM is actually a contest, giveaway and demo. 12PM is the actual time to purchase the game, console, headset and strategy, etc...

I know this isn't the topic at hand, but it is related...I pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 4 (just the game, not the bundle) a few months ago. As of this writing, though, the game still has an estimated delivery date of the 17th, according to my order page on amazon. I'm a prime member, and i ordered overnight delivery. anybody know what's up with this? My order still isn't even listed as being prepped for shipping, and the frickin game comes out tomorrow! Never had this problem with amazon before...anybody else have this problem?

I ordered mine months ago on Gamestop cause of the LE and other "exclusive"stuff. Well... they say it will ship on the 12th, meaning I won't get it till.... who knows when.
GRR... It would have been easier to just buy it in a store!

I'm in the same boat and I wrote to Amazon as to why and this was their response to me:

well that is something i am trying to figure out. My copy of MGS4 on GameStop's site includes an artbook (on backorder) for free. No one else seems to know about this but it is there nonetheless. Also, it is the LE edition, not the bundle. You'd think that would ship sooner/faster than the bundle but I guess not.

The action figure comes with the LE, right? What's included in the bundle?

I think it has an art book for GameStop.com pre-orders. But they said nothing about it and I have heard nothing from anyone... but I see it on my order list.
No model, but I can live with an art book if that is the case.

Anyone else see this?
