Metal Gear ps3 bundle just shipped!

I know this isn't the topic at hand, but it is related...I pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 4 (just the game, not the bundle) a few months ago. As of this writing, though, the game still has an estimated delivery date of the 17th, according to my order page on amazon. I'm in the same boat and I wrote to Amazon as to why and this was their response to me:

Please note the estimated shipment and delivery dates displayed in your order confirmation e-mail and Your Account at the time you placed your order were incorrect. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this error caused.

As soon as the item has been released, we'll be able to ship it to you. As per our standard policy, we'll not charge you until the items are ready to be shipped.

When your order is shipped, you should receive an e-mail message
confirming the date, contents, and method of your shipment.
