Do you remember how much first generation DVD players cost in 1997? I do. I cannot justify selling my LD/DVD combo player because I paid so much for it. I will never be able to recover the purchase price. Now, you can pick up a DVD player at the grocery store for $19.97.

As a Mac lover, this was no surprise though. There is a large culture of Apple people out there that are very loyal and dedicated.

You forgot to emphasize that you can pick up a BETTER DVD player at a grocery store for $19.97. My grandma's $300 or $400 one she bought a long time ago (Sony, even) isn't anywhere near as good as my $30/$40 one.... Go figure!
