I know there are contracts and such but it would have been nifty to have all 11 of them on the cover. Not a big deal or anything though.

Do we know yet what the packaging is going to be like for the standard set? If it's not pocket/sleeve style for the discs, I'll cancel my steelbooks.

I might be wrong on this, but I don't feel like Warner Bros. uses that style of packaging. I assume it'll be a standard 4K amaray w/ either a flipper or stacked discs. I'd bet on the stacked discs though.

I know they did stackers for Game of Thrones but that has like a million discs in it. Have WB ever done it for a smaller set like this? I can't think of any offhand.

It should only be a 3 disc set. I know for various WB 3 disc movies I have like the 4K's for the respective movies in The Dark Knight Trilogy and The Matrix Trilogy they are all 3 disc cases with the stacker. So I think it's safe to bet that's what we'll get for this.

Honestly, I'd like to buy a pack of replacement 4K amaray cases with flipper and swap out all those 3 disc stacker cases.

I actually forgot all those are stackers, derp. I forgot because I just ditch the movie BD and it doesn't matter though. Here all three discs would be important obviously. Hmmm.

Assuming that trilogy set comes out the same day I'll opt for that. I even prefer the covert art, honestly.

Oceans 11 did not age well at all. You realize what a horrible actor George Clooney is and the try hard acting by everyone to pull of this bogus heist.

They can't all be superb, award-winning Shakespearean actors like Keanu Reeves, but you still own a bunch of his movies. Lighten up.

No judgments but asking just out of curiosity by reading most of the pages like why many want a standard keepcase release when we have these mouth watering steelbooks available?

I am not a sucker for steelbooks in particular but just look at this artwork. I could have never imagined they will bring something this gorgeous. Just imagine having them all stacked together in your shelf. The ultimate satisfaction.

As I said I understand its a matter of personal choice but I see so many are not into these steels even from the beginning and I remember one post when standard edition was not announced where someone would order the steels are pull the 4k discs our and stack them into his old blu ray keepcases he bought previously.

It's The Ocean's Eleven Trilogy on 4K, but no Dolby Vision/Atmos...

Because I already have a huge collection and I'd rather have all three in one regular-sized package than three steelbooks taking up more space. Also, the art is nice but I'm not so wowed by it that I need to spend more money on them. The trilogy set on Gruv with 20% off is perfectly fine for me.

Only things I care about packaging wise are: 1) original poster art, and 2) booklet with essays in it. These steels have neither.

I'm in a minority (probably just me since no one else says anything like this) but I don't keep any case unless it's very cool and something we really really like, or maybe plan to sell in the future. I like things so neat in the living room I keep everything in leather binders so they match our bookcases. Sure it'd be easier displaying the cases, but they take up SO MUCH ROOM and our house is small. I, personally, collect movies, not the cases. I do have other memorabilia though like posters, figures, books etc but when I upgrade a movie from DVDr/DVD/BD I toss the old disk into the 4k case and pass it on to family. If it's a new to me movie I just toss the case. I do have some with slips that I might sell, but collectors are SOOOOO picky I'm too scared in case there is some minor tiny dent in the corner and they pitch a fit and demand their money back. So for now they just sit in storage.

Now don't get me wrong I do REALLY appreciate the artwork, the other stuff with the cases/slips/steel and those fun ones I do keep, I just don't want them all displayed like that. (and yes this is coming from someone who has about 30 movie posters in her living room and more in other rooms of the house! haha) And yes, in this case, and with others too, the steel is way better looking than the regular release(s) but I can buy the trilogy for the price of just two steels (less if you look at other retailers who are charging $40 each for them) so for me, it means more movies to watch for less money.
